I have always loved reading and interacting with people, which is why I decided to become a teacher. I grew up around the world, so I call many places my home, like Virginia, Singapore, Qatar, Pittsburgh, and Texas. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Certificate in Children's Literature from the University of Pittsburgh and a Masters in Secondary Education from Texas State University. I taught English for three years in Austin, one year in a military community in Missouri, and am now happy to be a part of the Johnson community as an English I and English II teacher!
