    Transportation Services

    If you need to change the transportation option you selected on the Transportation Request Form in online registration, please complete the Hays CISD Transportation Request Change Form.

    Immunization Reminders

    Students entering 7th grade are required to have certain vaccine boosters. Your child will not be allowed to start school at Hays CISD until he or she meets the vaccination requirements. If you are unsure if your child meets these requirements, please contact your school nurse or physician.

    Volunteers Needed

    If you would like to become a Hays CISD parent volunteer, please visit our Hays CISD Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPs) webpage for more information.

    Sign Up to Receive Alerts

    Parents must sign up to receive general alerts such as principal messages and other campus and district news. Attendance and emergency alerts are automatically sent to all parent/guardian contacts; no sign-up is needed.

    If you did not click the checkbox in online registration to receive general alerts, follow these steps to sign-up:

    1. Log into your Parent Self-Serve (PSS) account at
    2. Click on your student's name.
    3. Select the "Edit Contact Info" tab.
    4. Click the "Alert" checkbox next to your phone number.
    5. Click the "Submit Changes" button at the bottom of the screen.

    Repeat this process for each of your students.

    Parent Self Serve (PSS)

    PSS is now displaying 2020-2021 school year information.

    Important Dates

    • August 10 – parents can complete the Instructional Commitment Form to select if their student will participate in virtual or in-person learning
    • August 24 – middle and high school parents can view student schedules in PSS
    • September 3 – elementary school parents can view student schedules in PSS
