My name is Katie Boaz. I graduated from Texas State University in 2012 with a bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialty in 4-8 mathematics. I started my teaching career at Fredericksburg Middle School where I taught 6th grade math, 8th grade math, and 8th grade Algebra. The following year I moved to Hays High School where I taught Algebra and coached softball and volleyball. During my time at Hays, I continued to teach Algebra and I earned my Masters of Education in Mathematics. This is the start of my 9th year as a teacher. I am incredibly excited to not only be at Johnson High School, but also to be teaching Geometry.
