Hey Tiger families, my name is Allison Applewhite, RN, and I am your school nurse. This will be my 2nd year at McCormick and my 11th year working as a nurse. I have worked in a variety of nursing fields, including the med/surg floor at a hospital, a doctor's office, and at a high school in another district as a school nurse. I have two kids; my son just graduated, and my daughter is starting 10th grade. I like spending time with my family, shopping, and walking my dog. 

The health and safety of the students at McCormick is my #1 priority.

Immunizations

State law requires students in Texas schools to be immunized against certain vaccine-preventable diseases. Students will not be able to attend school without proper documentation of required immunizations.

Upcoming 7th graders will require a dose of Tdap and a meningococcal (MCV) vaccine prior to the start of 7th grade.
