Employee Services Department

  • wellness icon The Employee Services department works to promote a healthy and safe environment for members of the Hays CISD team. The department provides services to promote wellness and assist staff members with information regarding use of leave, workers’ compensation, the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the district’s catastrophic leave bank. The goal is to ensure Hays CISD team members are able to focus on the district’s mission and needs of its students.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

  • The Deer Oaks Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free service provided for you and your dependents. This program offers a wide variety of counseling, referral, and consultation services, which are all designed to assist you and your family in resolving work/life issues in order to live happier, healthier, more balanced lives. These services are completely confidential and can be easily accessed by calling the toll-free Helpline: 1-866-327-2400.
