ATTENTION 10th and 11th Graders

If you plan to take a ACC class this summer and you need to take the ASSET test, you must sign up today, Monday, February 8th with Ms. Tillotson in the College and Career Center! The ASSET test will be given at Lehman High School Saturday, February 20th. If you miss this test at Lehman, you must go to an ACC campus Assessment Center to test!

Help support our LHS HOSA group!

HOSA will be having a bake sale on Saturday, Feb 13, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Kyle Walgreens to help fund their trip to San Antonio, TX for a HOSA conference. Please come by and purchase some homemade baked goods to share with your loved ones on Valentine's Day. If you would like to donate a baked good for the sale, please contact Wendy Bergstrom at LHS at ext 7694.

LHS CJ students headed to STATE!

The Criminal Justice Competition Squad competed Saturday at Texas State University and are ALL going to STATE. They brought home 1st place in Obstacle Course Female, Obstacle Course Male, and Felony Traffic Stop. 2nd Place in Obstacle Course Female, Fingerprinting, Criminal Case Analysis, Building Search, Foot Pursuit, and Obstacle Course Male. 3rd place in Building Search. Please Congratulate Jaszmine Rodgriguiz, Jasmine Esquivel, Matt Calderon, Gabe Robellar, Christain Guajardo, Evan Flores, Selina Gomez, Torri Torres, Adriana Romero, and Stefan Munoz.

TAKS 24/26@LHS

Please mark your calendars for spring TAKS testing for grades 9th, 10th, and 11th.

March 3 and April 27, 28, 29, 30

To graduate from LHS,  current 12th graders must earn 24 credits and pass exit TAKS tests in math, English, science and social studies. Current 9th, 10th and 11th  graders must earn 26 credits and pass all exit TAKS.

Seniors are in second place with 32,479 pages read
Juniors are at 26,662 and Sophomores are now at 20,679 pages read

The sophomores at Hays High are going strong at 58,000 pages read. Let's close that gap, LOBOS! You can do it!
There is no limit on the number of pages you can turn in. Come by the library to get your entry forms today!
