DMS BAND SOCIAL

Band Parents,
We need help on Friday, February 19. The band program is
in charge of the social. This event is a big fundraiser
for our band department. We are in need of 15-20 parent
volunteers to help us from 3:00 until 6:30. We will need
parents in the concession area, the music area, and both
gym areas. The actual time of the social is 3:30 – 5:30.
Due to school district policy all parents who wish to
volunteer will need to fill out a form off the HAYSCISD
website. Go to Hayscisd.net open it and go to
Community & Board scroll down to volunteers and fill out
the form on line. You may contact Kathy Stuewe our
school secretary if you have any problems with the form.
This needs to be completed by the first week in
February. Please let me know as soon as possible if
you will be volunteering, my school # is 268-8441

We are asking our students
to help in two ways.
1.) Talk up the social invite all your friends at
DMS.
2.) Bring something to help off set cost.

The more we have donated, the more profit we
make, this will help lower the price for the
student trips.

Beginners are to bring (1) twelve pack of Coke,
Sprite, Dr. Pepper, or Diet Coke. Please bring
the sodas by Friday, February12.

7th Graders are to bring (1) box of candy
bars: Hershey, Snickers, M&M (plain/Peanut),
Twix, etc. Please bring the candy by Friday,
February12.

8th Grade are to bring homemade baked goods. One
dozen packets of brownies, cookies, rice crispy
treats individually wrapped, or cookies two or
three to a pack. Please bring the morning of the
social Friday, February 19.
