Athletic Physicals will be conducted at Lehman High School on Tuesday July 22nd from 4:00- 6:30.   Please call 268-8454 ext 7656 beginning Monday July 14th to schedule a time and for more information.  Physicals are open to all HCISD student athletes for the upcoming school year.    Cost is $15 per student.

Students participating in athletics at Chapa & Wallace Middle Schools and Lehman High School are required by the Hays CISD to have a pre-participation examination PRIOR to the BEGINNING of each school year. It is required that all physicals be completed and turned into the Athletic Training office at Lehman HS by August 1st of this year. This is the preferred due date for both FALL and SPRING sports alike as the University Interscholastic League (UIL) requires an athletic physical on every athlete before they participate in any workout including preseason workouts for the winter and spring sports.

Two options are available for completing this task. As in the last couple of years, the Hays CISD Athletic Trainers in conjunction with local healthcare providers will perform pre-participation exams on the high school campuses. Times and locations are listed at the bottom of the page. Appointments may be scheduled by calling the Athletic Training Office beginning April 30. Costs for the physicals will run $15.00

The second option would be to obtain an athletic physical form from any of the previously mentioned campuses and schedule an appointment with the physician of your choice. These blue forms will be available after May 1, 2007. Only athletic physicals completed on these forms will be accepted per UIL instructions. Please note the UIL does not consider physicals on camp forms, military forms, or note pad to be valid therefore the HAYS CISD will not accept them.
