WALLACE RANGER BAND INSTRUMENT SELECTION DAY ... to be held at the LEHMAN HIGH SCHOOL CAFETERIA. Future Wallace Rangers should plan to come between 9 and 11. THe total hours of this event are from 9 AM to 4 PM so you can come later if it better fits your schedule. Students can try all the instruments to find out which one is best for them!! New up-and-coming children's book author, Chris Barton, will bring his excitement for books and writing to our students. He has written two very popular and award-winning books: Shark vs. Train (picture book): A shark and a train compete in a series of contests on a seesaw, in a hot air balloon, bowling, shooting baskets, and more. The Day-Glo Brothers (nonfiction): Describes how brothers, Bob and Joe Switzer, invented fluorescent paint and colors, and explains how fluorescence works.

New up-and-coming children's book author, Chris Barton, will bring his excitement for books and writing to our students. He has written two very popular and award-winning books: Shark vs. Train (picture book): A shark and a train compete in a series of contests on a seesaw, in a hot air balloon, bowling, shooting baskets, and more. The Day-Glo Brothers (nonfiction): Describes how brothers, Bob and Joe Switzer, invented fluorescent paint and colors, and explains how fluorescence works.

UIL Athletic Realignment Announced The University Interscholastic League (UIL) announced Thursday the schools which have been assigned to each football district through 2014 and basketball district through next school year. Both Hays and Lehman High Schools will remain in the 4-A Conference and in UIL District 27, but they will have a different competition line-up.
